Position Summary

 River Pointe & West End Church is seeking a skilled and ministry-minded Rock RMS Administrator to steward and optimize our church management system (Rock RMS). This role exists to empower ministry through data, systems, and thoughtful digital solutions—helping staff and volunteers connect people to Christ and community more effectively.

The ideal candidate is both technically capable and relationally driven—someone who enjoys solving problems, building systems, and serving others behind the scenes to make ministry happen.

Main Objective

 To manage, support, and enhance Rock RMS across all campuses by ensuring data integrity, building scalable solutions, and equipping staff with the tools and training needed to effectively carry out ministry.

Key Responsibilities

 Rock RMS Administration & Support

         • Maintain and support all core Rock functionality including:

         • People & family records

         • Groups & group finder

         • Check-in systems (including mobile check-in)

         • Event registrations

         • Communications

         • Troubleshoot issues and ensure consistent system performance across all campuses

         • Manage user accounts, roles, and security permissions

Workflow & Process Development

         • Design, build, and maintain workflows that support ministry processes

         • Partner with ministries to translate real-world needs into scalable digital solutions

         • Automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency

Data Integrity & Reporting

         • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across the system

         • Monitor and resolve duplicate records and data inconsistencies

         • Build reports, dashboards, and data views to support ministry insights and decision-making

Check-In & Registration Systems

         • Configure and support check-in environments across multiple campuses

         • Build and manage event registrations, including capacity tracking and reporting

         • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues related to check-in systems

Training & Support

         • Serve as a primary support resource for staff using Rock RMS

         • Train staff and ministry leaders on best practices and new features

         • Create documentation and guides to improve user adoption and confidence

Integration & Innovation

         • Support integrations between Rock and external systems (giving platforms, apps, etc.)

         • Assist in development and maintenance of Rock-based web and mobile experiences

         • Stay current with Rock updates, features, and community best practices

Qualifications & Experience

Required

         • Experience with Rock RMS or a comparable Church Management System (ChMS)

         • Strong understanding of relational databases and data structure

         • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively

         • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

         • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical users

Preferred

         • Experience in a church or ministry environment

         • Working knowledge of:

         • SQL

         • HTML/CSS

         • Lava (Rock templating language)

         • Familiarity with workflows, automation, and reporting tools

         • Experience supporting check-in systems or event registration platforms

 Position Details

         • Job Status: Full-time

         • Schedule: Sunday–Thursday with occasional evening or special event support
