POSITION SUMMARY

RPC Food and Beverage Worker is passionate about providing our guests a great meal and experience at the RPC Yard and Grill and the RPC Café and Snackery located at our Richmond campus. RPC provides burgers, hotdogs, salads as well as seasonal special items. The RPC Café and Snackery provides specialty coffee drinks, pastries, and smoothies. River Pointe is passionate about providing excellent quality food in a high-paced and convenient environment so our guests can hang out, make friends, and build community before and after service and for special events.

The Food and Beverage Worker is passionate about food quality, taste, safety, cleanliness, organization as well as working through volunteers to execute food and beverage service to create a great experience.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in Sunday Café / Grill duties and preparation
Assist in recruiting and retaining volunteers to provide excellent food and beverage service
Assist in ensuring accuracy of inventory system through tracking
Assist in POS system, cash drawers, and completing daily balance sheets
Assist in being a good steward of resources and budget
Assist in training volunteers in our food and beverage departments
Assist in food safety and proper handling, certifications, training, etc. and ensures that facilities and equipment meet proper sanitary standards.
Assist in catering events throughout the various ministries
Sunday from 7AM-2:30PM. Additional flexible hours during the week (M-TH)
Ability to complete some work hours at the Missour City Campus

EDUCATION, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Experience: 1-3 years minimum restaurant or hospitality experience. Experience leading volunteers preferred.

Computer Skills: Two+ years’ experience with technology is required including Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook. The ability to quickly learn new software is required. POS experience required.
